Cranberry juice has so many benefits beyond relief for those who suffer from urinary tract infections! It’s great for all kinds of infections including the common cold! It even helps with the horrible flu bug that seems to be hitting most of Americans this year. This is because it contains certain compounds that prevent viruses from multiplying.
Another benefit for drinking cranberry juice is it helps eliminate water retention, cleanses accumulated wastes from the lymphatic system, and helps to clean up cellulite. As it cleans toxins out of the liver, it flushes out the stored fat cells which make up cellulite. BAM!
Here is my favorite recipe. Make sure you buy cranberry juice with no added sugar or harmful additives.
56 oz. filtered water
8 oz. cranberry juice (unsweetened)
3/4 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
4 Tbsp. ground flax or chia seeds
Mix, chill and drink throughout the day.
