The miraculous health benefits that coconut oil is becoming more known but it can only be obtained by consuming a high-quality cold-pressed unrefined virgin coconut oil.   We believe that coconut oil can boost energy while decreasing cravings for carbohydrates and sweets. It is also known to stimulate metabolism, improve digestion, and release fat cells. Coconut oil goes into our bodies and immediately is used as energy rather than store as fat.

There are many good brands on the market today. It’s important when choosing coconut oil that you purchase a good quality product in order to receive all the health benefits it has to offer. The key is knowing what to look for when purchasing coconut oil. Look for  “Extra Virgin” on the package. Pure and virgin are not the same-unless yours specifically says virgin, then it is not. Pure just means nothing is added to it, virgin means it is from the first cold pressing, which retains many of the nutrients.

You can also use coconut oil for your skin. Coconut oil absorbs into your body through your skin, and you get the same benefits or it as eating it, when it’s a good quality oil.

Choose This

You can read more information on our page dedicated to coconut oil or visit the Coconut Reseach Center.

Do not choose this:

According to the Lou Ana Coconut Oil manufacturer, their coconut oil is refined, bleached, and deodorized. This makes this oil inferior because it is chemically processed and refined with solvents, just like many of the other cooking oils that are on the market. Since this oil is chemically treated through a refinement process, the health benefits are lost.

If it were me, I’d toss it in the trash or give it to someone who doesn’t care about their body. lol. Another option would be to save it for P3 and then only use on your skin to finish up the product. If you are doing this on protocol, you must do it with EV or you will not have the same effects. I have found out many of those with negative reactions, or negative chit-chat, were not using EV.

What about WF’s 365 Organic Refined Coconut Oil?  It doesn’t say pure or virgin.
