In today’s contest tell us your weaknesses? What dessert or food item during the holidays always tempts you to eat it even when you know its full of sugar and unhealthy ingredients?

It is a cravings time of year! I mean even the shopping mall smells of the aroma of Christmas. Every baked, candied, drizzling chocolate dessert is everywhere you look from Thanksgiving to Christmas! So how do we keep from caving and diving into grandma’s homemade fudge and gaining 10 lbs we have to work off in the new year?

One #healthhack Carol and I have implemented over the years is eating an apple before going out or to a holiday party. I will even cut one up and put in a baggie and drizzle with lemon, so it does not turn brown, and take it with me, just in case!

Apples are great to stop sugar cravings and help you experience a sense of fullness. Read how apples before meals can help with weight loss.

Add your comment below or on social media to enter the contest. All entries will be combined from all platforms and the winner will be announced at the top of the post the following morning.

The prize for Day 1 of the 12 Days of Christmas is – Craving Defender

About Craving Defender:

Cravings are often the cause of why we fail on a healthy eating plan. This special custom formula combines L-Glutamine, Gymnema, and Magnesium along with other supportive supplements to stop cravings and help you gain control.

How does it work?

Powerful Ingredients:
B6
is a mood and metabolism booster.

Magnesium increases energy, helps you sleep better, helps keep you calm, keeps your muscles from cramping, promotes regular bowel movements, and helps with cravings.

Calcium helps magnesium absorb better and also is known to help with salty cravings like chips!

L-Glutamine often, sugar cravings are just the neurotransmitters yelling out for something they need or want when they get out of balance. L-Glutamine can help you lose weight fast, burn fat and build muscle, promote healthy digestion and this amino acid is especially helpful in treating leaky gut.

Gymnema is a woody climbing shrub native to India and Africa. The leaves are used to make medicine. The Hindi name for Gymnema means “destroyer of sugar.” And it Works!

Cinnamon helps manage blood sugar levels and is thought to aid in the detoxification and cleansing of the liver. It also encourages digestion, circulation and energy levels to optimize overall health and keep you feeling your best.

Chocolate is my weakness! Doesn’t matter if it’s cake, cookies, muffins, donuts…..if it’s chocolate I have a very hard time resisting but with Crave Defender it helps curve that temptation. Let’s not forget the apples, help fill me up so I don’t cheat.
