This healthy shake gives you a boost of energy and works hard to turn down your appetite levels. Protein, along with regular exercise, helps to reduce blood fats and maintain lean tissue while burning fat for fuel. The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for protein is 56 grams a day for men and 46 grams a day for women.

 

1 c almond milk (or 1/3 c. coconut milk with 2/3 c. water)
1 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 Tbsp. natural peanut butter
1 tsp. carob powder or cocoa
1 Tbsp flax seed meal
6 organic strawberries, cleaned and stemmed
1/2 – 1 package stevia (or a few drops)

Blend and enjoy.
