Blueberry Cheesecake Dessert

Looking for a dessert that is fast to make and good for you? Here is a quick shake that tastes like cheesecake. One cup of blueberries contains 14 mg of Vitamin C and is filled with antioxidants. Blueberries neutralize free radicals which can affect disease and age in the body.

Blueberries contain a type of flavonoid called anthocyanin, which has antioxidant properties that can help boost a person’s immune system. Flavonoids play an essential role in the respiratory tract’s immune defense system.

Researchers found that people who ate foods rich in flavonoids were less likely to get an upper respiratory tract infection or common cold than those who did not.
