Easy to Make Frozen Yogurt & Granola Cups
Delicious healthy breakfast, snack or treat!
These frozen yogurt granola cups are delicious, refreshing and good for you. A great summertime treat or fun dessert for your next barbecue or party!
Be careful when choosing yogurt – there are too many brands that are over-processing with added thickeners and preservatives. These yogurts diminish the natural nutritional benefits yogurt has to offer. We also recommend staying away from the “fruit at the bottom” brands that also have added sugar and other additives. We used probiotic yogurt because it provides so many health benefits. Read: The Benefits of Enjoying Probiotic Yogurt. It’s easy to make your own fruit yogurt by adding a few berries and yogurt and blending with blender. (like this easy to use and clean blender)
We made our own granola for this recipe. We used 4 Ingredient Easy Nut Granola (Sugar-Free) but Raw Date Granola: Life-Changing Power Snack is another good one. You could also use your own favorite recipe or purchase one like NuTrail™ – Keto Nut Granola.
Nut butters can be Almond, SunButter, Trader Joe’s Mixed Nut Butter or Macadamia Nut Butter. If you are going to use peanut butter make sure it’s Organic Peanut Butter.
The sweetener choice is also important. Make sure you don’t reach for a syrup that has been processed or contains a lot sugar and additives. Healthy choices include an organic pure honey, organic pure syrup or this Keto-friendly sugar-free syrup.
Although garnish is optional, it does make it more fun and pleasing when serving. Garnish ideas: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, coconut, dark chocolate, and even more granola.
