Happy Cinco de Mayo! This year this fun holiday falls on Taco Tuesday so we thought we’d share our taco seasoning recipe! This recipe is healthy and no added harmful ingredients like those store-bought packets!

Healthy Homemade Taco Seasoning

2 tsp.  chili powder

1 tsp. cumin

1 tsp.  garlic powder

1/4 tsp. ceylon cinnamon

2 tsp. onion powder

3 tsp. paprika

2 tsp. ground black pepper

1 tsp. sea salt

Add all spices together in a bowl and blend well. You can also add to a jar or other air-tight container and shake until blended.

Use 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning per 1 lb of ground meat when making tacos. Add 1/4 cup water or vegetable/beef/chicken stock if you’d like for a saucier taco meat!
