If you’re missing breadcrumbs, or the crunch they offer, try this simply delicious recipe. Breadcrumbs can be used in a number of recipes, givine you a variety of flavor, crunch and texture. Even though you may feel like you are eating a ‘traditional’ breadcrumb, this recipe is 100% low carb approved! (Gluten-Free, Dairy Free, Sugar Free, Low Carb, Keto)

Homemade Keto Breadcrumbs

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/3 cup hemp hearts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Avocado Oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend for about 1 minute. Divide the dough in half.

Take two sheets of parchment paper and spray with avocado oil. Roll out 1 part of the dough between two prepared pieces of parchment paper until mixture is very thin.

Remove top parchment paper and slide bottom parchment paper onto a baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.

Place both baking sheets in the oven and bake for 11-13 minute or until golden brown.

Cool for 10 -15 minutes. Break up the pieces and place in food processor. Blend for 10-15 seconds until crumbly.

Refrigerate in an airtight container.
