Homestyle Healthy Meatloaf. Paleo. Easy.
Restaurant versions of meatloaf are often loaded with table salt and bread crumbs. This comfort meatloaf is super easy and great for any healthy diet plan. Serve with a salad, vegetables, or Caprese salad.
Homestyle Healthy Meatloaf
2-3 lbs ground beef (grass-fed) or turkey
1 egg
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 cup. flour or almond meal
1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Topping
1 8oz can tomato sauce or ketchup
Fresh parsley, chopped
In a large bowl mix all ingredients. Place mixture in a greased pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for one hour or until inside is no longer pink.
Remove from oven and top with tomato sauce and more seasonings, if desired.
