Just Like Sugar – A Healthier Sugar Choice
When I first heard of Just Like Sugar, I was sceptical and was expecting to find sugar alcohols added or some unpronounceable additives in the ingredient list. But after digging through the
company website, reviewing the short ingredient list and using it for the past few months, I’m here to tell you this is a great choice to replace regular sugar. It not only tastes great and you can use it exactly the way I would use regular sugar – add to beverages, cereal, Greek yogurt, cook and bake with it, etc.
Just Like Sugar is a natural sweetener, not artificial, made mainly from chicory and orange peels. While this stevia is still my favorite option, some people are taken aback by its aftertaste. Just Like Sugar does not give off the same aftertaste.
I love the fact that it has no sugar alcohols, or other harmful additives. It contains 4 safe ingredients: chicory root, calcium, vitamin C, and orange peel, which provides the sweetness.
