You only need a few ingredients and sweetener, if desired. While you can certainly add sweeteners such as honey, monk fruit, coconut sugar, or pure maple syrup. etc., Stevia works well.
If you are not on a dairy-free diet, you can also substitute half of the coconut milk with yogurt. Extra creamy!
For a more green-colored smoothie, add a few leaves of fresh spinach. The spinach flavor is undetectable and it makes this smoothie even more fun!
Key Lime Pie Smoothie
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1/2 avocado
- Juice of 2 limes + zest
- Stevia or sweetener of choice, to taste
Mix all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
