Many reasons to get off the couch and out of those fat clothes!

When you shed a few pounds and inches, it’s important that you feel good about yourself and the goals that you have met. It’s important that you treat yourself to a reward for your efforts. Go out and buy a pair of skinny jeans or a dress in a smaller size or replace your whole wardrobe if you need to!

If you have had the fortunate experience of shedding unwanted pounds and unhealthy fat cells, you know how good it makes you feel. In order to keep the weight off and keep yourself in check is to toss out all your  “fat clothes” right away. Studies have shown that those who keep their bigger sizes tucked in a closet are more likely to gain the weight back than those who took a trip down to Goodwill with their unused clothing.

When you feel your clothes tighten up, you need do something about it right away before it is out of control. Keep yourself in check by making sure your clothes fit and weigh yourself regularly (3-5 times a week). If you find yourself reaching for the sweat pants every day or digging in the back of your closet for your old clothing, your weight will soon be out of control. But if you get rid of your clothes, and would need to go out and spend money on bigger sizes, then you will think twice before digging into the cookie jar, ordering pizza or having an extra slice of cheesecake.

Donate your fat clothes, resell or swap, or even consider cutting them up for quilting – whatever works for you! It will help you keep off those unwanted pounds!
