There’s nothing better than a afternoon treat that is healthy! I almost always have sliced bananas in my freezer to add to protein shakes and smoothies. The flavor adds so much and it makes it smoother and colder. I love mine with coconut milk and I feel that it adds so much more nutrition as most almond milks on the market have added ingredients. This coconut milk is a brand I recommend or if you have a Trader Joes they have a good brand as well for a very reasonable price.
1 cup almond milk (or 1/3 coconut milk & 2/3 cup water)
1 frozen banana (I pre-slice and freeze in Ziplock bags)
½ cup strawberries
1/2 cup mango
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
A couple of handfuls of baby spinach (optional but extra healthy!)
Place everything into your blender and blend until you have a thick and creamy smoothie. Enjoy!
