Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats

This recipe has what we like to call a secret ingredient—oat bran. The reason we say it’s a secret ingredient is because many of us don’t know what a powerfully slimming food oat bran is. 

Even though it is low in calories, it is high in fiber and fills you up. When you consume oat bran, it immediately begins to soak up the saliva in your body then expands in the stomach absorbing up to 25 times its volume in liquid. This is how it makes you feel full fast. 

Start your morning with this delicious recipe! It will keep you feeling fuller longer so you eat less in between meals.

Strawberry Cheesecake Overnight Oats
1/3 cup plain organic yogurt
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 Tablespoon oat bran
2/3 cup unsweetened oat milk
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon ground flax meal
1/2 teaspoon organic vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1-2 tablespoons pure honey or maple syrup
1/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
3 tablespoons softened Neufchâtel cream cheese

Mix together all ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl and blend well. Spoon into a jar with and close the lid. Refrigerate overnight. Make at night and enjoy in the morning!
