Tuna Salad
Omega-3 are essential to good health and they help your body burn fat more efficiently! Omega-3s raise your metabolism & lower your triglyceride levels. In order to insure we get enough omega-3s daily, we need to eat foods that are rich in omega-3s which is why I suggest we eat fish at least twice a week.
1 can White Albacore Tuna (in water)
1/2 celery stalk, chopped
1/2 celery stalk, chopped
1/8 c. onion – I did mixture of red and green onion
1/8 c. chopped raw walnuts
1 Tbsp. chopped banana pepper or pickle (optional)
1/8 tsp. curry powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
Pinch of garlic powder
1 Tbsp. Safflower Mayo
Mix well and toss on a bed of dark green leafy salad. Add tomatoes if desired.
